Privacy notice
We only ask for what we need to give you a solar quote. This notice explains what we collect, why, and what you can ask us to do with it, as required by the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173).
Who we are
The Solar Company PH (thesolarcompanyph.com) installs and supplies solar systems in Zambales and Pangasinan. We are responsible for the personal information you send us.
What we collect
When you send the quote form, we receive:
- your name and mobile number, and how you prefer to be contacted (call, text, Viber, Messenger or WhatsApp);
- your town or city;
- whether the quote is for a home, a business or an installer, and your monthly electric bill if you enter it;
- the results of our solar calculator, if you used it, and the page you sent the form from.
If you call, text or message us, we also have your number or account name and what you tell us. We do not use analytics, advertising trackers or cookies on this website.
Why we use it
- to contact you about your quote request and arrange a site visit;
- to prepare your quote and, if you go ahead, plan and carry out your installation or order;
- to answer follow-up questions and give after-sales support.
We process your details because you asked us for a quote, and to take steps before a possible contract with you. We do not sell your details or share them for anyone else's marketing.
Who handles it for us
- Web3Forms receives the quote form and emails it to our inbox.
- Google (Gmail) and our email provider store the emails we receive.
- Vercel hosts this website and keeps short-term technical logs (such as IP address and browser) to keep it running and secure.
Some of these services store data outside the Philippines. We use them only to run this website and reply to you.
How long we keep it
We keep quote requests only as long as we need them to deal with your request, and for customers, as long as needed for warranty, after-sales support and legal requirements.
Your rights
Under the Data Privacy Act you can:
- ask what personal information we hold about you and get a copy;
- ask us to correct it if it is wrong;
- object to us using it, or ask us to delete it;
- file a complaint with the National Privacy Commission.
